We are looking for someone to join our Architectural Practice in Bungay to assist with Reception and general administration on a part-time basis.

The days required are Tuesday and Friday approx. 9am to 4pm, hours may be negotiable.


Duties to include:

  • Answering the telephone and taking messages
  • Opening the daily mail and distributing
  • General Filing, typing and office duties
  • Keeping the office clean and tidy
  • Sending and receiving emails


You must have:

  • A friendly manner
  • Be able to work on your own initiative
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel & Outlook
  • Experience of working in an office

Position: Architectural Assistant


Job Title: Architectural Assistant Part 1 / Part 2 / Architectural Technician


Job Type: Perm


Location: Rural Suffolk


OWL is currently seeking an Architectural Assistant/Technician with good AutoCad and Revit skills to join a local business.  We are offering a unique opportunity for an Architectural Assistant at the level of Part 1, Part 2 or as a Senior Technician to join our design team. In this role you will use your Revit and AutoCad skills to produce working drawings and to oversee projects under the guidance of the Senior Design Architect, attending site meetings and surveying.


OWL Ltd is an Architectural Business with Building Surveying, Planning and Sustainability advice for a range of sectors including: commercial, health, education, residential and community. Our projects range from large-scale new build and refurbishments to smaller value design and construction work.


Essential requirements:

·Previous experience in a similar role from an architectural background

·Experience working on variety of projects including historical would be beneficial

·Ability to create innovative designs for challenging projects

·Good knowledge of UK planning and building regulations

·Strong knowledge of AutoCad and other design software such as Revit

·Technically proficient and hit the ground running

·Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal

·Good organisational skills, able to prioritise workload effectively

Driving licence and use of vehicle required
