The site is central to the village; the land previously accommodating an existing parish hall and in part sold as a severance plot. Arranged as a principal block with a side wing, the main hall was placed on the long axis with sliding, folding doors providing a view over the village field with all other facilities placed transversely to form a forecourt on approach. The building has an orthodox rural appearance and a low human scale typical of buildings in the surrounding Norfolk countryside and important to planning consent. Funding for the project was in part private and in part the National Lottery Community Fund. Space and water heating are provided by an ASHP.
